I'm a second year Aerospace engineering student at a Russell-Group University, and secured the Dean's list award for Academic Excellence in my first year of Univeristy, seven 9s and three 8s in my GCSEs, and 2 A*s in Maths & Physics and 2 As in Chemistry & CS at A-Level. Throughout my A-Levels at Herschel Grammar School, I was awarded Student of the Term 5X for Physics, 2X for Maths and 1X for Computer Science. I was also ranked top 2% of my school's cohort, and was a top 3% performer in the school's A-Levels results.

I spend the first 30 minutes of any session getting the student familiar with new topics, for both Maths & Physics are one of the few subjects where you can't truly succeed without understanding fundamentally what the ideas are, and where raw memorisation is no longer enough. Once the student is satisfied and has no doubts of their own, we spend the rest of the lesson tackling a few exam questions, after I've guided them through one myself.
